Amanda Hanson is a wool fiber artist and watercolor illustrator living and working in Centralia. In 2013 she received her BFA in Studio Art from Central Washington University. The focus of her artwork is primarily wildlife, especially species found around the PNW. She enjoys using her artwork as a tool to educate viewers on lesser know or misunderstood animals.
She works as an art instructor for Arbutus Folk School in downtown Olympia https://arbutusfolkschool.org/ she offers both youth and adult classes.
Amanda is the Jr./Sr. High Art Superintendent for the SWW Spring Youth Fair.
