Hi There!
I am a mother of 3 beautiful girls and have been teaching and creating art in various ways for over 10 years. I am watercolor artist and instructor, content designer as well as a HS Art teacher at a local school district here in Lewis County (I love my job). In addition to creating art, I have a big passion for teaching art to students (of all ages). I have taught watercolor classes at CC to adults and I have also created (and teach) an After School Art Program at my school for elementary students. I feel art has the power to move mountains in our world, and feel so blessed to be in the profession I am.
In my own personal art, I tend to concentrate on the people, animals and the environment around me. My artwork tends to be bright, saturated with color, and is sprinkled with a bit of whimsy. I like to push the envelope a bit and try new substrates and methods in watercolor.(Currently I am in love with AquaBord panels!) I am excited to share my art with you and would love to hear what type of art you are interested in as well!
