I am a jewelry artist. I am a fiber artist. Whether sawing and hammering the hard surfaces of silver and copper or manipulating wool, silk, and other materials, I love creating wearable art.
Each piece of jewelry is unique. My design inspirations may come from a shape, a picture in my head, a stone, or evolve as I work. My childhood love of collecting rocks and beach glass has culminated in the creation of jewelry.
Adding to my passion of manipulating materials, I entered the world of fiber arts. Coaxing pieces of wearable art from silk, wool, and other fibers is like magic. The soft, pliable fibers contrast with the hard edges of jewelry, making them truly complementary art forms.
